Jim Carrey's has made his first public appearance since the death of his girlfriend, Cathriona White.
The 53-year-old attended the Golden Globes awards last night and presented the award for Best Comedy Motion Picture: his first public appearance since his girlfriend was found dead in September 2015.
In his presenting speech Jim seemed back to his usual, hilarious self. He said: "I'm two-time Golden Globe winner, Jim Carrey. I dream about being three-time Golden Globe actor Jim Carrey because then I would be enough."
The comedian explained: "It would finally be true and I could stop this terrible search, for what I know ultimately won't fulfill me. But these are important these awards - I don't want you just think that just because if you blew up the solar system, you wouldn't be able to find us or any of our solar system form the naked eye. But for us, this is huge."
When he read the winners card, he said: "Wow. You know once I say this, it can't be unsaid. You can't not know who the winner is after I say it" before presenting the award to Ridley Scott for The Martian.
We're happy to see Jim smiling again.
ON 10 OCTOBER 2015, WE WROTE...
It's been almost a month but Jim Carrey returned to Twitter today to share an emotional post about Cathriona White, who was laid to rest hours earlier.
"Love cannot be lost," Carey wrote on Twitter, alongside a shadow silhouette of himself with Cathriona White and a red rose emoji.
Earlier in the day, Jim Carrey served as a pallbearer for his ex-girlfriend, Cathriona White, at her funeral in her native Ireland.
The 30-year-old died of an apparent suicide in Los Angeles on 28 September. The Irish-born makeup artist had dated Carrey, 53, on and off since meeting in 2012 and had reportedly broken up days prior to her death.
The actor and comedian, dressed in a black suit, was one of six people who carried White's coffin from the church to a local cemetery, where she was reportedly to be buried next to her father Pat.
ON 9 OCTOBER 2015, WE WROTE...
Jim Carrey is believed to have arrived in Dublin for the funeral of his ex-girlfriend Cathriona White. The star flew overnight in a private jet from LA and arrived in Ireland at 2:20am this morning.
The funeral of the former make-up artist, who tragically took her own life, will take place tomorrow. Mourners will also pay their respects this evening during the removal of her body from her grandfather's undertakers firm, White Funeral Directors. Carrey is reportedly attending this service as well.
Cathriona will be buried next to her father in a graveyard in Cappawhite, Co. Tipperary.
ON 6 OCTOBER, WE WROTE...
It's emerged that Jim Carrey's late girlfriend Cathriona White was married to someone else at the time of her death.
The identity of her husband has not been revealed but the coroner's office will not release Cathriona's body until it is picked up by her next of kin, who is her husband.
Cathriona dated Jim Carrey on and off for three years before they finally split shortly before her death.
The investigation into Cathriona's death is on-going although the autopsy has been completed and they are waiting on toxicology results.
It is thought that the actor and Cathriona split shortly before her apparent suicide on 29 September, although they were seen out together on 24 September.

Jim Carrey has met with his late girlfriend Cathriona White's mother and sister in the wake of her suspected suicide on Monday. The actor has apparently put Cathriona's family up in a hotel after they travelled to LA from Ireland. "They spent several hours at his home in Brentwood," a source said.
The plan is that the body of the make-up artist will be flown back to Ireland and buried there, although this may take some time as toxicology tests to determine the cause of death can take up to 10 weeks to be released.
In a statement following Cathriona's death, Jim Carrey said: "I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona. She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled."
The pair dated on and off from 2012 and it's thought that they split on 24 September.

The family of Jim Carrey's ex-girlfriend, Cathriona White - who died from a suspected suicide on Monday -have released an emotional statement to the Irish Independent yesterday.
"The family of Cathriona White sincerely regret the untimely passing of their beloved daughter and sister," the statement read. "Cathriona was a shining light in our lives who was loved deeply by her entire family. We will miss her terribly and at this difficult time we ask to be left in private to mourn our loss. There will be no further statements on behalf of the family."

Jim Carrey has released a statement following the death of his on-again, off-again girlfriend Cathriona White.
It is believed that Cathriona committed suicide after Los Angeles police discovered her body last night.
Speaking to US Weekly, Jim said: "I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona."
He continued: "She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt."

ON 29 SEPTEMBER 2015, WE WROTE...
We bring you the sad news that Jim Carrey's on-again, off-again girlfriend Cathriona White has been found dead. It's believed that she committed suicide.
TMZ has reported that the couple's recent split was a factor.
Los Angeles police responded to a call from her worried friends last night, and discovered the body of Cathriona White.
The 28-year-old Irish makeup artist, who had been dating the 53-year-old comedic actor since 2012, reportedly left a suicide note that mentioned the Dumb and Dumber star.
It's alleged that Jim broke up with Cathriona last Thursday.
White's last tweet, posted on the same day as her purported break-up with Carrey, seems to have presaged her apparent suicide:
"Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest," she tweeted.
The story is still developing but law enforcement are reportedly looking at an overdose of drugs as a cause.
